Museum of Flying

Dear Museum of Flying Members and friends of the Museum

I wanted to personally reach out to our members and friends of the Museum of Flying and address the current situation around the latest on the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus).

As you may have seen in the news, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and Mayor Eric Garcetti declared a health emergency on Wednesday, March 4. However, public health officials are emphasizing that the immediate health risk from the virus for the general public in LA remains low.

We know that the situation is rapidly changing and can be unsettling. The staff at the Museum of Flying is closely monitoring the situation, and will share and act accordingly as the latest information become available.

Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our members, guests, staff and volunteers. We want to assure you that, in light of these current health concerns, we are doing everything we can to provide a clean and safe environment for all of our guests. In addition to encouraging general hygiene practices, we have added hand sanitizing stations around the museum and increased the frequency of cleaning as an extra measure of precaution.

We will keep you informed of any changes should they occur. If you have any specific questions or concerns, please contact me at steve@museumofflying.org .

We are so appreciative of your shared enthusiasm for our museum and hope you continue to support our mission and our Museum through this temporary situation.

My sincere best wishes,

Steve Benesch
Director of Operations
