Museum Aviation Presentation Series continues with a Special Screening of “Gray Eagles”
on Sunday August 30th, 2015 at 3:00 pm.
The Museum of Flying in Santa Monica will present a special screening of the documentary “Gray Eagles” on Sunday, August 30th at 3:00 pm. The film tells the story of a plane and pilot reunited nearly 60 years after the war.
The film features World War II Fighter Ace, Major Jim Brooks, who was credited with 13 ½ aerial victories during the war flying the famous P-51 “Mustang”. Meet Major Brooks and the film’s Director, Chris Woods, who will briefly introduce the film prior to the screening with a Q & A session to follow after the film.
The screening will be held in the Douglas Aircraft wing of the Museum and copies of the DVD will be available for purchase in the Museum store for $14.95. Admission to the Museum is $10 for adults, $8 for Students/Seniors, and $6 for children aged 3 to 12.
The film is the story of two generations, one American family, and a plane called February. A remarkable film about two American heroes, Major Jim Brooks and the North American P-51 “Mustang”.
