MUSEUM TO HOST GUEST SPEAKER IN SEPTEMBER!

The Museum of Flying is proud to announce the return of our Guest Speaker Series with noted aircraft expert and author, Michelle Evans. Evans will give a presentation on the legendary North American X-15 rocket plane at 1:00 pm, Sunday, September 11th in the Museum Theatre, giving attendees an in-depth look at the world’s first manned hypersonic aircraft. Three X-15s made 199 flights from Edwards AFB during a successful nine-year program that began in 1959, and the modified X-15A-2 still holds the world’s ultimate speed record of more than 4,500 mph.
